Job seekers can create their own professional profiles within Huntr. These profiles capture everything your team and your employer partners need to match job seekers to great opportunities. Your team will have full access and edit rights to candidate profiles, allowing you to jump in when needed.

What does it look like?

Here’s a sample of what a candidate profile looks like (see it live here):

🎨 Creating Profiles

To get started with profiles, your job seeker needs to log into their Huntr account and click the Profile link on the left side menu.

Here they will have to go through the initial profile setup, which includes steps like selecting a unique username for their profile, deciding if they want their profile to be public and giving you (the organization) access to their profile information.

Once the initial setup is finished, the job seeker will see their profile builder, this is where they can start building or edit their profile at any time. See the Profile Fields section for a full catalog of all the information in a profile.

Candidate Profiles View

Only after a job seeker has finished the initial profile setup, will your team be able to view and edit their candidate profile through your organization’s dashboard. In order to view profiles, you need to navigate to the Candidate Profiles section.

The Candidate Profiles view is different from the Job Seekers view. While it is true that a candidate profile belongs to a job seeker, the Candidate Profiles view is used to search/browse for talent (think skills, experience, education, resume, etc). On the other hand, the Job Seekers view is used to gather data about the state of a user’s job search (think number or applications, interviews, offers, placement statuses, etc).

In summary: If you are a coach trying to find how a job seeker is doing with their search, the Job Seekers view is for you. If you are part of an employer partnerships team or tasked with finding a list of candidates for a specific opportunity or company, then the Candidate Profiles view is for you.
