Most email communications from Huntr to both your job seekers and advisors/team members are powered by our notifications feature. As an organization, you have full control over the email notifications that your job seekers and advisors receive.

Where do users see notifications?


A notification lets your users know about important things that are happening in the Huntr platform. Job seekers and advisors will both see a new 🔔 Notifications link in the left navigation bar of their respective dashboards (see below for screenshots of where to find notifications).

Updating Default Notification Settings

To update your organizations notification settings, go to Settings → Notification Settings. There you’ll see all notification types for both Job Seekers and Org Team Members (i.e: Advisors). If you toggle any of those off, then the user will not receive any emails of that type.

⚠️ Important: Users will still see Notifications in the in-app notifications section, regardless of the email delivery notification settings. These settings only control the EMAILS that job seekers receive.

Can my users update their personal notification settings?

Definitely! While the defaults you setup will initially apply to all your users, both job seekers and advisors can override those default settings by going to Personal Account Settings → Emails & Notifications. This ****gives each user full control over what emails they’d like to receive.
