There are two ways of bringing your Employer Partners into Huntr:

  1. Organization Initiated Flow: Someone in your team proactively send an invitation to your employer.
  2. Employer initiated flow: Share a link to your Employer Portal signup page.

While both of these flows result in an Employer Partnership being created, they get to that point in different ways. It is important to understand each of these flows (and their steps) if you are integrating your systems via Webhook or our APIs. Read on below for more information on both flows.

Organization initiated flow

aka Inviting partners proactively

The Organization initiated flow occurs when someone in your team proactively sent a talent portal invitation to an Employer via the Invite Organization Employer modal. This creates a new Employer Invitation record in our system. When the employer signs up for your portal, they’ll see a pending invitation they can Accept or Decline. You can see all invites sent to Employers via the Employer Invites section in your organization’s admin dashboard.

You can read about how this method works at Inviting Employers Proactively. Read below for more info on the webhook actions that are triggered with this flow.

What are the actions that get triggered in Organization initiated flow?

At this point the only action triggered in this flow is the ORGANIZATION_EMPLOYER_PARTNERSHIP_CREATED action, which is triggered when the first user for a given employer accepts your portal invitation.

Employer initiated flow

aka Employer signup via public portal form

The self signup flow occurs when no Employer Invitation has been sent ****from your organization’s team to an employer, and yet employer signs up via your Employer Portal Signup Form.
